I think your method is bright and seems easier than any others. I am 73 and have an unused piano in my house. I wish the lessons were all online rather than on cd sets. It’s so easy to follow my iPad on the piano. I am thinking about your course. Thanks.

  • Janet Kelly says:

Hi Thiomas – I’ve been trying to learn piano for so long which is more difficult as you get older. I know that if you want to do something you must put the time into it. I started learning classical a long time ago but it because it takes ages it’s easy to lose interest. I love that you are so passionate about music and teaching and this shines through. Even though English is your second language it’s easy to understand your lessons. You’ve re-ignited my passion and even though I know the chords in these lessons it so much easier to understand and learn. I learnt Fur Elise ages ago from musical notation but as soon as I moved on to something else if I want to play it again I have to re-learn. I’m almost there again now after watching your videos and it’s taken much less time to get there. Thank you

  • Wow just wow.. You have so much talent and you love and embrace evey bit of that talent you have.. wish I could have just a little bit of it.. can’t wait for lesson 5

  • Very interesting. You are the best.

  • Thank you Thomas, I’m excited to watch lesson 5!! 🙂

  • I lost my link to Lesson 3. Would you resend it to me, please?

  • Hey Thomas, you’re such a great teacher. Been following up from lesson 1 and the more lessons I get the more I getting very good playing the piano. And I hope by the end of these lessons I would be able to teach others how to play the piano. Thank you very much once again!

I am so grateful that you are able to share this through your eyes, that makes it visible to the rest of these poor souls who have such a hunger to learn. Thank you for all of your efforts to share your knowledge,

    I don’t have a red button either ,

  • Shannon Baughman says:

What is the media used in your Komplete course, CD, cassette tape ?

    • Hi Shannon,

The Komplete course is primarily provided digitally, through online videos and downloadable content, rather than on physical media like CDs or cassette tapes. This format allows you to access the lessons anytime and anywhere as long as you have internet access. It also allows me to easily update the course with new material. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

      Keep playing,
      Thomas

    • Hi Linda,

Thank you for your kind words about my medley. Please remember, it’s never too late to learn and enjoy music. Age doesn’t limit your ability to experience the joy of playing the piano. Keep practicing at your own pace and enjoy the process, that’s the most important part.

Take heart dear Lady, I am 81 and just starting out with Thomas.
For me it’s about the journey and being able to learn and do something new today, that I couldn’t do yesterday.
For what it is worth, I am also working on Thomas’s Fur Eleisse Pt1 – 5 and if I manage a good level of skill with that, before I ‘check-out’, I will be a Happy man!
      Kind regards
      Anthony

  • Hi
I truly love what you are doing, as I’m not a youngster anymore I find your information absolutely fabulous.
Lesson 4 showed what you can do with a few cords and its amazing, however I was wondering if it could be
possible to download the score as I would like to give it a go.

    thanks again

    • Hello,

I’m thrilled to hear that you’re finding the lessons valuable and enjoyable. The magic of music truly shines when we start combining chords and creating melodies, doesn’t it?

Remember, the important part is to enjoy the journey of learning. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have more questions or need further clarification on any point. Happy practicing!

  • Dear Thomas you never explained how to work with left hand !

    • Thomas Forschbach says:

Hello Hanna, great to hear from you! We’ll get to the left hand exercises soon. If you want to start now, you can practice the previous exercises with your left hand by doing the mirror image of what we did with the right hand. For example, use your left pinky where you used your right thumb. However, I suggest going one step at a time, as doing all the exercises with your left hand right away might be overwhelming.
